BUBUR AWAMI COMMITTEE

The Bubur Awami Committee is the primary governing body of the village — a formally structured committee that works closely with the Lumberdar and oversees the overall affairs of Bubur. Where the Youth Forum mobilizes around specific needs, the Awami Committee provides ongoing, structured oversight, with defined roles and a clear hierarchy of responsibility.

ROLE

As the central administrative body of community governance in Bubur, the Awami Committee is responsible for overseeing village affairs, supporting the Lumberdar’s leadership, and ensuring that decisions affecting the community are made through a structured, accountable process. Each member holds a defined position, giving the committee both the organization and the collective authority to represent and act on behalf of the village

BUBUR YOUTH FORUM

The Bubur Youth Forum is a community-driven group bringing together the youth and young leaders of Bubur under one platform. Unlike a formally structured body, it operates on the strength of collective participation — members gather whenever the community calls on them, whether to respond to a specific need or take part in an initiative for the village.

The forum is currently led by Tahir Ali, Himat Gorsing, and Ijaz Ahmad, who help coordinate the group’s efforts and mobilize the youth of Bubur.

ROLE

The Bubur Youth Forum exists to channel the energy, skills, and time of Bubur’s young people into direct action — whether that’s supporting a development project, responding to an urgent community need, or standing in for tasks that require quick, collective effort. It reflects a simple belief: when the village calls, its youth show up.
